“April, come she will
When streams are ripe and swelled with rain.”
-Simon and Garfunkel
Today in Bozeman, our streams are swelled with snow and our mountains have accumulated 9″ of fresh powder at Bridger Bowl and Big Sky Ski Resort, in the last 24 hours. Bridger Bowl has an expected closing date of April 9th, while Big Sky is set to close on April 22nd. If you’re looking for a good time and want to embrace closing weekend in Big Sky the Pond Skim is the place to be.
However, if Spring bicycling is more your speed then you will definitely want to take advantage of biking through Yellowstone National Park without the worry of motorized public travel.
Status of roads for spring bicycling:
Mammoth Hot Springs to Willow Park (11 miles): open
West Yellowstone to Roaring Mountain (31 miles): open
East Entrance to the east side of Sylvan Pass (6 miles): closed
South Entrance to West Thumb (22 miles): closed
Current road status for bicycling is also available by calling (307) 344-2109 from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
So whether it be skiing, biking or checking out Bozeman and our surrounding communities, we still have properties available this month. So be sure to book with us and start exploring!
