“Spring is almost over and the summer’s come
And the days are gettin’ long
Waited all winter for the time to be right
Just to take you along, baby get ready”
-Nitty Gritty Dirt Band
With the summer solstice less than 24 hours away I can tell you that every Bozemanite is beyond ready for the long summer nights. Whether you are visiting Bozeman for the hiking, fishing, biking or sightseeing -you are here at the right time! Check out a list of just some of the mountain biking trails offered around Bozeman, here.
As far as weekday activities, The Bogert Farmers Market off S. Church Avenue in Bozeman is always a good time, every Tuesday evening from 5pm-8pm. There are plenty of food vendors, produce, artist and crafts to take in and bring a blanket to lay in the grass.
If you enjoy music, I would suggest heading to Big Sky on Thursday evenings for Music in the Mountains. The park opens at 6:00pm with music hitting the stage at 7:15pm.
June 21: Kitchen Dwellers + The Well
June 28: Josh Hoyer & Soul Colossal
However, if you are craving the need for speed, dirt tracks and racing then the Gallatin Speedway in Belgrade off Tubb Road on Friday nights just might be the thing for you. Be sure to check the weather before heading that way as rain tends to cancel the races.
