About Crosscut Mountain Sports Center: The Basics

Crosscut Mountain Sports Center is all about connecting guests with nature. This nonprofit organization provides year-round outdoor recreation, sports training, and environmental education to the community.

Born of a 19th-century logging camp and a historical site for skiing, Crosscut is built on land rich with the history of the town of Bridger.

The local community of Bozeman purchased the land that houses Crosscut in 2016 to preserve and expand the area. Today, the 533-acre center stands proudly, offering limitless fun to families and guests from all backgrounds.

Kiddos can explore the natural world in Crosscut’s nature camp, hit the slopes at ski camp, or visit mountain biking and other programs to have fun in the sun.

Crosscut utilizes a place-based approach that encourages kids to engage with their curiosity as they discover all nature has to offer.
